Her haunting lyrics and soulful voice. Their swampy rhythms and hook-filled melodies. A new chapter in Americana! Ladies and Gentlemen, HENRIETTA SWAN. We named the band in honor of, and inspired by a scientific hero: Henrietta Swan Leavitt (1868-1921) American astronomer known for her discovery of the relationship between period and luminosity in Cepheid variables, pulsating stars that vary regularly in brightness in periods ranging from a few days to several months. We’re a virtual band, comprised of musicians, poets and engineers from different parts of the US that collaborate both via the Internet and in person to create our music. Then, all of the parts are assembled, mixed and mastered in Nashville, TN. Thanks for listening and please enjoy our musical creations!

We'll I'm standing by a river but the water doesn't flow It boils with every poison you can think of. Then I'm underneath the streetlights But the light of joy I know Scared beyond belief way down in the shadows. And the perverted fear of violence chokes a smile on every face And common sense is ringing out the bells. This ain't no technological breakdown Oh no, this is the road to hell. And all the roads jam up with credit And there's nothing you can do It's all just bits of paper flying ‘way from you. Oh, Look out world Take a good look what comes down here You must learn this lesson fast and learn it well. CH This ain't no upwardly mobile freeway Oh no, this is the road This is the road This is the road to hell THE ROAD TO HELL By Chris Rea. Copyright Intersong-Usa, Inc. o/b/o Magnet Music Ltd 3:47

GET TOGETHER Love is but a song to sing, fear's the way we die You can make the mountains ring, or make the angels cry Though the bird is on the wing, and you may not know why CHORUS Come on people now, smile on each other Everybody get together, try to love one another Right now Some may come and some may go, we shall surely pass When the one that left us here, returns for us at last We are but a moment's sunlight, Fading in the grass CHORUS 2X If you hear the song I sing, you will understand (listen!) You hold the key to love and fear, all in your trembling hand Just one key unlocks them both, It's there at your command CHRUS 3X Right now Right now Right now By Chet Powers Copyright 1963, Irving Music, Inc.

Odessa 04:32 video
ODESSA © 2019 Gary Gladson and Lauren Shera Levine. Swantunes Publishing, ASCAP. All Rights Reserved) Odessa is a desert queen Reigns over these badlands Golden like a lover’s dream Holds my heart in her hands Chorus: Breakdown, ooh I have knelt before you It’s late now, ooh I am calling for you Odessa is a silver screen Lights up when she turns on If you needed to believe If you hear a siren song Chorus Oh if I was her man, ooh Odessa, she’s a desert queen Moves just like it’s effortless Turquoise eyes like far off seas She speaks and leaves me breathless Chorus

Unfold 03:56
UNFOLD Bulla, Davison, Gladson, Heithaus, Levine © Swantunes Publishing, ASCAP 3:56 Could you unfold Press yourself to open up A little every day Healed from the inside out A little bark and clay Is it too late to turn it around? Then came the cold Creepin’ through our house at night Into your bones Casting shadows from the light A little darkness grows We can only wonder will it slow down Go and find your darkest corner Shed some light if you can spare And if the light flickers Honey I'm sending out a flare Oooooh Ooooh Ooooh If you wake up in time You’ll find that dawn is a sight to behold If you’re not afraid to try Then you can finally unfold Oooooh Ooooh Ooooh Ooooh All in good time Dust kicked up will settle down And in this light I can see you’re stronger now A little spark ignites This flame has grown into a wildfire Go and Find your darkest corner Shed some light if you can spare And if the light flickers Honey I'm sending up a flare Ooooh Ooooh Ooooh Ooooh If you wake up in time You’ll find that dawn is a sight to behold If you’re not afraid to try Then you can finally unfold Unfold ……
